Who we are
BRANDBIT is a growth marketing agency based in Cairo, Egypt. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
The growth diagnosis brief. When you send the brief on the contact page: your name, your role, the brand and what it sells, website and social links, monthly budgets, what is not working, your phone number and, if you give it, your email.
Chat messages with BIT. What you type is sent to our server and on to the AI service that writes BIT’s reply. We do not save the conversation on our server; it lives in your open browser tab. To keep the chat consistent, BIT keeps short working notes in the server’s memory for up to 2 hours, such as what you sell and how you like answers (short or detailed). They are linked to a random chat number, not to your name, never written to disk, and gone when the 2 hours pass or the server restarts. If you ask BIT to prepare your brief, nothing is sent to us until you review it and press Send on the form.
Anonymous visit counts. Which pages are visited, the site or campaign that sent the visit, device type, browser and a country guess from the time zone. We do not use cookies for this, we do not store your IP address, and we respect “Do Not Track”.
Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). Our pages load the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms. It records the pages you view on this site and two actions: sending the growth diagnosis brief and tapping WhatsApp. It may use cookies and similar technology set by Meta, and the information goes to Meta, which may process it outside Egypt under Meta’s privacy policy. We use it for our legitimate interest in measuring which of our ads work and in showing our ads to people who have already visited, never to sell your data. It does not load if your browser sends Do Not Track. You can switch it off for this browser here: turn off the Meta Pixel. You can also manage how Meta uses this information in your Meta ad preferences.
Small settings in your browser. Your language choice, sound on or off, and whether you have already seen the intro. These stay on your device.
Why we use it
To prepare your growth diagnosis and contact you about it, only after you tick the consent box on the form.
To answer your questions in the chat.
To understand, in aggregate, which pages help people and fix the ones that don’t.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else processes it
An AI service provider processes chat messages to write BIT’s replies. It may process them outside Egypt and under its own terms, so please don’t write passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details in the chat.
Our hosting provider runs the server that stores briefs and visit counts. The server is outside Egypt.
Zoho Mail handles email sent to [email protected].
WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok only receive data if you choose to open those links; their own privacy policies apply there.
How long we keep it
Briefs: while we are talking about working together, and up to 24 months after our last contact, then we delete them.
Visit counts: aggregated numbers for about 13 months.
Backups of the server data: 30 days, then they are overwritten.
Your rights
Under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020) you can ask to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email [email protected] from the number or address you gave us, or tell us on WhatsApp, and we will act on it as quickly as we can and within the time the law allows.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center.
